MINUTES:
Bob Fife brought Town center map circa 1944 from Conservation
Corps.
7 Lots of any interest of minimal size (2 acres or larger)

Discussed need to find accurrate survey maps.
Ken Jordan suggest that defining town property limits should be
within the scope of the committees goals. It is important to know
if planned actions will impact abuttors and/or other private or
public properties.
Need to know where septic and other services are located.
Gordon Suggested using some funds for topographic survey of center.
Book of town maps back to 1700s may be available at State
Historical Archives Bob Fife.
Reviewed Planning Boards report (March 2000) on condition
of Town Hall.
Took external and internal tour of Town Hall.
Examined basement, furnace, bathrooms, meeting room and several
members looked up into attic.
Nancy Roy will provides prints of town Hall.
Committee members approved Mission Statement as drafted by Ken
Jordan.
Mike suggests we explore requirements/standards for determining
eligibility for certain "historical building" funding
sources. We dont want to inadvertently make changes to the
building that will disqualify us for possible funding under one
of these programs.
The plan for the next meeting is to meet April 25th with Dale
and Phil Stone at the Fire Department and Maintenance building
at 7 Pm exterior and interior evaluation of this building. Also
to discuss department needs with Depatement heads.
Following this, we will reconvene to discuss the additional materials
some committee members will gathering his coming week (tax maps,
building plans, topos, etc.)

Next weeks meeting will start 4/25/01 at 7 PM at Town Maintenace
Building and Fire Department.
